Ned

Profile

I would like to introduce Ned. He and his brother Otis came into Ragom this past Saturday. Otis is his littermate. They look amazingly alike, although Ned has a whiter face. They are now  living in different foster homes but would love to be reunited in their permanent home. If that doesn't work out in a timely manner, then they will be placed separately.

Ned is a five-year-old male, already neutered. He went to the vet today and weighs 58 pounds. He is now up to date on shots..(he needed them all), microchipped and is pending on fecal and hearatworm test. He has an ear infection in one ear and two liittle spots he has licked raw. He has an extremely thick coat and is medium blond. He has had a manicure and after a few more nail trimming sessions, his nails will be short too. He is very tolerant and just soaks up the attention.

Ned said goodbye to his brother Otis in my driveway on Saturday afternoon. He rested his head on Otis's back and watched me and the transport driver exchange information. Then, Ned followed me into my yard and Otis got back in the truck and drove away. Ned met my two goldens with zero issues. Later in the day, he met the cat. She snarled at him, he whined...another zero issue introduction.

Ned has spent the work week crated, although he gets a reprieve at midday. He has earned total freedom when people are home. He does not try to get on furniture. He does jump onto the bed for a second when we first go to bed, but then he gets down and sleeps quietly on the floor next to the bed. He  is a typical golden in all ways. He wants to be with his people, he wants to be loved and to be part of a family.
