Welcome to RAGOM, little Nell. She and her sisters, Lizzy and Kassie, came from a small commercial breeder in Iowa. Nell is a purebred Golden Retriever, weighs about 10.6 pounds, and is ten weeks old. She has a low-grade heart murmur which may heal itself as she grows up. Otherwise, she is in good health and got puppy shots this week at the vet. Nell’s father is a large, light-colored dog and mom is very red. Nell has a lovely, light-colored coat. After her bath, she was a ball of fluffy puppy.

Nell has a nice personality. She is playful and sweet. She likes to play with toys and snuggle with dogs and people. When picked up and held, Nell nestles into your shoulder and makes contented sounds. She loves to be held and is a very mellow puppy.

She likes other dogs and children. With her thick, fluffy coat, she enjoys exploring outdoors even if it’s snowy, cold, and windy. She will play on her own with her toys. She has the funny habit of laying down to eat and sometimes to drink.

Nell is a puppy. That means chewing and housebreaking and training. She will require lots of your time for play and training and exercise. She will in turn give lots of love and affection and a lifetime of companionship. Nell will probably grow up to be a large dog. She is beautiful now both in looks and personality. If you are ready to give Nell what she needs, contact your placement advisor. She will not be able to join her new family until she is spayed later this month, but she is ready to meet her family now and waiting for her forever home.
