Peyton 16-009 is an 8-year-old Golden/Spaniel Mix. He is 53 pounds and came from Tennessee. Hence, the name Peyton (Peyton Manning). I’ve been with him one week and can tell you he is sweet, mellow and has full roam of the house. He has had seizures in the past but the vet recommends that side effects of any seizure medication would be worse for him than the seizures as they occur infrequently. He loves the outdoors and tends to pull so he wears a gentle Leader.

Fence is required, so he can enjoy the outdoors off leash at home. He will do well with older kids 10 plus. He was surrendered after nipping at a toddler. He is a jittery kind of guy, easily startled by loud noises and would be best as the sole dog.

Peyton will need dental work with possible extractions. He is up to date on shots and in good health.
