Sasha is a beautiful one-year-old black Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix coming from a loving family in ND. It must have been a very emotional, but necessary decision. She has no medical issues! She is a very loving and intelligent girl and high-energy!

Sasha has been busy since March 5th adjusting to life in the Twin Cities with a family of three dogs and six cats. I found that a Gentle Leader collar is necessary for safe walks when a squirrel runs past. She weighs in at 50#, a very powerful force when a critter is involved. Dog training may help with obedience and walking at a slower, less erratic "heel."

100% housebroken. Not one accident since arrival and it seems she will "potty" on command when outside. Bonus!

Sasha's history includes living with a six-year-old child. With her exuberance and size, that is a consideration for the adopting family. She could easily knock over a toddler.

Of course, tennis balls are in her repertoire of favorite toys. She could fetch forever! She enjoys Kong squeaky tennis balls, rope toys, and stuffed toys. Keeping her busy is important. Sasha enjoys tug games with the resident dogs. She adapts to strange dogs with proper introductions. She would be a candidate for a dog park or doggie day care.

Sasha had her "spring tune-up," so she is up-to-date on all required vaccinations, negative for heartworm and parasites. Monday, her spay was completed. After the recovery, she will be ready to chase balls again!
