Profile

Hi There! My name is Walker and I am the resident dog of a home that just got their very first foster dog. I would like to introduce you all to TASHA, my brand new foster sister. She arrived here in Blaine, one week ago on June 29. and boy, is she ever some great dog!
Tasha arrived here from a breeder's place in Rochester. She doesn't want to have any more litters, so I guess that is why they gave her up. She hasn't told us much about her previous life, but I think she must have been around people before living at the breeder's place. She loves people, and can't seem to get enough pets and pets and brushing. My humans are wondering why I don't behave as well as Tasha, when it comes to getting brushed! This gal really soaks up the attention around here! I'm a bit jealous!
Here is what I can tell you about her. The vet says she is about 6 years old. She arrived here with a few parasites, and ear infections, but she is just about finished with her meds. She has a doctor's appointment tomorrow, to be spayed. I don't really know what that is, but I won't be going along for that trip. She got all her shots last week. No complaints and everyone at the vets made a bug fuss over her, being so good.
She really doesn't like her crate, so the humans are letting her sleep with us on the floor in their bedroom. Good thing though, cause she has not had one accident in the house! She is a little timid, so I haven't been bugging her to play, but just the other day, she started playing with me. What fun! She loves the pool! She is friendly to the neighbors, and hasn't barked at any of my neighboring dog pals. She is a bit of a fussy eater and for some reason needs a lot of coaxing to eat, which I can't figure out at all! Treats are something she probably hasn't had before, because she gives me any treats the humans give her. I'm scoring big time!
She is looking for a forever home. I think she will make some humans very happy. She isn't fond of fireworks, but then neither am I. Her favorite thing next to getting petted, is lounging in the pool. I have to say though, this girl can use some exercise, and gosh darn it, she could shed a few pounds. So, more updates to come. In the meantime, take a look at this good looking, gentle spirited, lovable 6 year old female Golden. As you can see, she is adorable.( Not quite as good looking as I am though!)

Sincerely, Walker ( the resident dog of this place)
