This is the most recent information available; however, it may change as we learn more about the dog.

Tasha is a retired breeder girl who came into RAGOM's care on 11/23/2016.  She will turn 5 years old on  February 22 .  Tasha weighs in at 62 pounds and has been to the vet to get her vaccinations all up to date. She has not yet been spayed but we hope to get that done very soon.

As you can see by the pictures Tasha is a very stunning deep dark red colored girl.  She takes great comfort in being near the three resident dogs in the house.  We found out the hard way earlier this week that Tasha no longer cares to be crated while Foster Dad is at work.  She bent the bars on the wire crate door just enough to make it collapse and then she was free to be by the other dogs.  In the second picture Tasha was reunited at the RAGOM Holiday Sale with Lacey 16-224 no named Winnie.  These two were definitely friends and were hard to leave each other's side.

We are working each day to help give confidence to Tasha.  She is definitely very shy and timid to sudden movements and loud noises.  She now tolerates being petted and told what a brave and cute girl she is.  She used to tense up and bristle with the slightest of touch on her body.  While she may not exactly enjoy this kind of attention at least she is no longer shaking in fear of it.

We will continue to work on exposing Tasha to new things and making her more comfortable in those situations.  We will also continue to work on house training Tasha.  Check back for future updates on how Tasha is doing.  Happy Holidays to her many fans!

Our sweet Tasha girl has found her forever home and moved there just over a week ago.  Best of all her new parents are repeat RAGOM adopters!  Sadly they lost their RAGOM boy Shane to cancer in January.  Lucky for Tasha and RAGOM they once again sought their newest family addition from us.  Their previous experience in working with insecurities of a shy dog with Shane will help them with some of Tasha's insecurities too.  Tasha's new Mom works mostly from home and when s...

Tasha has been busy the past 2 Saturdays in meeting a family that will soon be her forever home.  Last weekend Tasha and I drove up to their home.  Much to my surprise she walked right in their home and walked around with comfort.  She was so comfortable at one point that she hopped up on the couch alongside her Forever Dad and snuggled with him.  She also checked out Cole's (resident dog) stash of toys and bones.  The resemblance of their Cole to my Lauren is uncanny an...

Tasha wants to give a big Thank You to Nicole 13-351 and Buster for the Winter Icon and wishes in finding her forever home!  Tasha has been busy since coming into foster care and learning so many new things.  Tasha underwent her spay surgery just before Christmas and has recuperated quite nicely.  With the retired breeder dogs there are a number of things we work to instill in them. Some of the biggest challenges are to help them acclimate to living indoors and to build their...
