We would like to introduce Tika. Tika was rescued from a reservation - his name means 'brave one'. He is a beautiful 2.5 year old Sheltie/Golden Retriever mix who is as sweet as they come. He is a petite guy at 47 lbs. He is in good health and is having his neuter surgery today.
Tika transitioned with ease into our home and has been a perfect gentleman. He takes treats nicely, walks well on a leash and seems to be totally housebroken. He likes car rides and sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep. He loves affection, gives kisses and rolls over on his back for belly rubs. Tika warms up slower with men and gets a bit fearful if anything pulls around his neck. He is a fast runner, and since he is very interested in squirrels, bunnies and birds, he would need a fenced yard.Tika is a super sweet boy who would make a wonderful, loving companion for a lucky family.
