Xiao-Xiao (pronounced Sheow Sheow) came into RAGOM from a rescue group in China. Xiao-Xiao is a happy, playful girl. She can live with children age 10+ and can live with other dogs. She can live with cats. She loves to be out in the yard by herself so a physical fence is preferred, but an appropriate safety plan would be needed absent a fenced yard. Welcome to the USA, Xiao-Xiao!
Dog Updates
1/18/2023Xiao Xiao has come a long way from Shanghai to Minnesota! She will get to live with an experienced golden person who loves her already! They will have wonderful times together walking and visiting ‘Grandma’ at the lake. Training classes will be starting soon. And this girl will have all kinds of new neighborhood buddies to play with as well as many places to walk. She actually has actually convinced 2 of our resident dogs to play with her! And boy, do they play! She loves to go for walks and walks nicely with a gentle leader. - 11/15/2022After being in our home for 4 weeks, we realize that she would do just fine as an only dog as long as she has opportunities to play with other dogs (neighboring dogs, day care, play dates, dog parks, etc). We have also learned that she likes to wander around in the yard either with other dogs or by herself. Sometimes she likes to just lie out in the yard by herself, so it would be best if there was a physical fence, but a tie-out would be okay.
- 10/23/2022Xiao Xiao (pronounced Sheow Sheow) has been on quite a journey for only being 2 years old. She lived in a Shanghai animal rescue for 2 years waiting to come to the US. She then flew to Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis and has stayed in many foster homes throughout her journey. Amazingly, she is a friendly, happy girl who seems very content in our home even though she’s only been with us for a week. Her tail wags constantly and she likes to be by her people. S...
