Our future begins with you. By making a charitable gift through your estate, you help ensure the future of homeless Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes for years to come.
The Golden Legacy Circle is a special group of supporters who have included RAGOM in their estate plans. For decades, dogs in need have counted on RAGOM for help. The support of Golden Legacy Circle members ensures that each dog will be welcomed and taken care of, well into the future.
There are several ways to make a planned gift to RAGOM:
Bequest in Your Will or Trust
A bequest in your will is a simple way to support our future. Your gift will ensure a Golden life for every dog that comes to us and can reduce your estate's taxes.
Beneficiary of Your Retirement Plan
Supporting us through your retirement plan or IRA is easy to do and a smart way to donate. Retirement plans that are passed on to your heirs are subject to income taxes, but because RAGOM is tax-exempt, we are eligible to receive the full amount of your gift. Simply request a beneficiary form from your retirement plan administrator to add RAGOM as a beneficiary.
Life Insurance Policy
If you have a life insurance policy that you no longer need, consider changing your policy's beneficiary to support our work. Simply request a beneficiary form from your insurance company to add RAGOM as a recipient.
If you would like information about adding RAGOM to your estate plans, email amy [dot] lakeragom [dot] org, call 952-946-8070, or complete the Golden Legacy Circle Membership Form (PDF 354 KB). If you have already included RAGOM in your estate plans, please let us know!
