More Than 600 Dogs Expected to Attend

Minnetonka, Minn. (August 16, 2021) Retrieve a Golden of the Midwest (RAGOM) is hosting its 12th annual Goldzilla, a day-long dog extravaganza for dogs of all breeds. The event features a Walk for Rescue, pet activities, contests, giveaways, a vendor village and much more on Sunday, September 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton, Minn.
The event is expected to attract more than 600 dogs and over 1,200 people. RAGOM is a nonprofit that has rescued and rehomed more than 9,000 Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes since its inception in 1985.
“Goldzilla is truly a day for dogs, complete with a line-up of activities and a chance for dogs and dog lovers to join together and celebrate their love of all things canine,” said RAGOM’s Marketing Manager Amy Lake. “Every year we look forward to Goldzilla not only as a fundraiser to help us with our efforts to rescue Golden Retrievers in need, but also as a way to unite dogs and dog lovers.”
Free shuttle buses are available for overflow parking.
